Privacy and prototype notice
Prototype status
ClujParticipa is a prototype and coalition-building tool, not a production voting system. All data, votes, and interactions are for demonstration and feedback purposes only.
Data use
Submitted ideas, comments, and support votes are stored to demonstrate the platform's functionality. Data may be reset or modified during the prototype phase without notice.
Non-binding support
Support votes do not represent binding decisions. They indicate community interest within the prototype and carry no official weight. Any future binding participation process would require verified identity and a separate mandate.
Participant identification
Voting and commenting use an anonymous participant token generated in your browser. Only a SHA-256 hash of this token is stored on the server. The raw token is never transmitted or recorded. This prevents duplicate votes without identifying individuals.
Moderation
Submitted ideas and comments may be moderated. Moderation events are recorded and visible in the public audit trail. Comments may be hidden if they violate community guidelines.
Future identity verification
A future production system would require identity verification to enable binding participation. The current prototype does not collect or verify personal identity. This limitation is intentional for the pilot phase.
